Thank you very much for your kind welcome. Your messages are always so gentle. I am very happy to have especially pleased you this time with my choice of an artist.

But Leonardo was no common artist, he was a genius. And he was no common genius either; all considered, he was one of the two or three most brilliant people of the last millenium. Since I was a child, I always held the most profound respect, admiration and love for him.

So although in a modest manner, I now have deeply enjoyed the opportunity to present him in this forum. I only wish I had had the time and ability to honor him by producing something worthy of his greatness.

For technical reasons my postings are less than my visits to forums at present.

This is a great series of forums and I look forward to more.

You will have work very hard though to top Leonardo however.

Unfortunately I too cannot post as frequently as I would like, though in my case, it is for sheer lack of time. But even if you are right about the difficulty to find an artist to top Leonardo (and you are right of course), I hope to be featuring very soon another great painter, maybe a Mannerist, who will appeal to you. Visitors like you are a very good motivation.
