Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for the positive articles. It makes us think.

I believe that an important first step in understanding someone else, is to want to understand them.

My grandmother used to say, there are none so blind as those who don't want to see.

And like so many other virtues, if it gets practiced at home and in the little local community then it becomes much easier to extend the same courtesy anywhere in the world.

If we can't get along with the neighbour next door, why expect greater success half way around the world?

Thanks so much for this article and for creating this forum!  I am really enjoying reading all the posts here.

The last part about Find compassion, bless them and move along your day in grace actually describes how I live my life but I could never have put it in such great words.
