Hello Robert,

As a new person to ALP a month ago, I have learned a few things about being a member, the people and the forums.

Being a member is awesome because there are so many wonderful people here.  As a new member, I felt it necessary to "please" everybody.  I realize a person simply can't do that.

The forums you join are important to the creator and the people who visit and post in them.  I found myself rushing in and rushing out because I felt I "had" to contribute something.

The longer a person is a member the more you will find out for yourself which are the forums that are the most important to you as an individual based on your interests and business needs.  Sticking with those will more likely give you the opportunity to be a valuable contributer.

Just a thought!

Sincerely,

Terry

Way To Go - You are a top 100 poster!!!

See now you need to set another goal for the end of the month.

My goal this month - to see if I am the father of Anna Nicole's baby.

I had such a bad week I thought I had better set a really easy goal. LOL!

Have a Top 100 week,

Sheryl

Congratulaions on reaching the Top 100!

There IS a drawback, maintaining your numbers can become an obsession!  People jockey for position once they realize there IS a position to be had and it's within their reach.  Numbers 99 and 101 may make it their goal to constantly stay competitive with you so you need to be active all the time.  The number of posts doesn't matter in itself, but the number under our pictures gets to be something that we want to have.  It's a little empty luxury, but if we lose it then it feels like a loss.
