You are quite right. Hundred dollar bills are not likely to fly out of the sky after you comply with all of the laws in "The Secret" movie. A good scenario is one that a typical devotee of these principles will get a sudden flash of inspiration and come up with an idea that he or she sells for a million dollars after doing the legwork of actually finding the right investors and companies that can support the idea and then a large amount of intervention and follow up to make sure the right people get the idea together into something they can sell.
It is true that certain people are more successful than others with the concept. No one has a personal genie to do the work. We have to use grease - elbow grease, and a lot of it. It is certainly easier to do the work when you enjoy what you do with great enthusiasm, and oh yes, that is also part of the formula.
