Re: When your AdlandPro signature is too long

Hi Roger, Yeah, it's the amount of characters, not the amount of lines that will sometimes mess people up. What people can do is create links by using this simple formula: YOUR TEXT That way the whole URL is hidden. If you use 'what you see is what you get' you can make hyperlinks. Another thing I've found to save on the amount of characters in my sig line is to use tiny.url.com to shorten the length of the URL. I can't even remember how many times I've had to mess around with my sig line, and I also cringe when I think about going back in and changing anything!

Arrgghh! Let me try that again as I didn't mean to create a hyperlink in my previous post :-( Here's what you do - I'm going to break it up so it will show, so bear with me. -------- write your text -------- follow it by There are no spaces in any of that except where I indicated with *space*. Is that clear as mud? LOLOL Roger, if neither post looks the way they're supposed to, feel free to delete them. If anyone needs to know this and my posts didn't come through correctly, send me a personal message.

Here's my version:

<aspacehref="yoururlhere">Yourtexthere

Another piece of useful code is
which is linebreak.

Both of your posts look good Lorraine, so I'll keep them. ;)

OK, I am trying to work on my new & improved sig line but, I have given up for the day. Now I see the line break - do I have to use it so it is not all in 1 line? I might be a slow learner but, I got lots of time! LOL!

Sheryl

Can the sig line be centered on this site?

Hi Sheryl,

I suggest that you use linebreak between each link.
I tried

and it didn't work, just showed as text. :)
