I see no reason for to limit peoples lines.
This is something that is normally regulated by forum owners/admins
and AdlandPro regulates this here by limiting the amount of letters.

The only problem here is the delay.
The delay that tricks you into thinking your signature is ok.

Like yours.

hello Roger ..thank you...I will start looking at signatures more closely..I did not know that it could changed once it has been edited and saved...I wonder if that has something to do with Adland programs it self....Larry

Programming it differently could for instance tell you how
many letters you had left to include in your signature and
stop you from entering more letters than you were allowed.

Or a different programming could stop you each time you
tried to save a signature that was too long by saying:

"Your signature is too long."

You don't have to wonder Larry, it is the programming.. ;)

I am so glad that I could inspire you to write this helpful info!! LOL!!

The 5 line theory is out the window - it must have a character length. Been there - done that!

I am always telling people when their sig line isn't working - I just don't always check my own. I think that is because I hate going into the 'Set Up Wizard'!! It is a real wizard, things just appeared & disappeared without warning.

When I have written something "enough" times as private messages
I either save it in a file for copy/pasting later or do a piece in my forum.

Now I just refer people to this thread. ;)
