Info Request - Have you been paid? - Not an Ad
2/12/2007 6:44:18 AM
Hi,

For aprox. a week, I have been reading various different forums - searching for someone that has Actually received compensation for any one of these programs that everyone is advertising. I see alot of promises and suggestions but none that say...I have been paid - or it was worth my time and effort because I get a pay check.

I am not looking for my inbox to be spammed to death or anything of that sort but I would like to know about a program that you are working AND getting paid for.

I personally do work online, I do some proof reading and editing for a news company out of Austin Texas, but the pay is minimal - or should I say a little disappointing (100's and 100's of pages = about $60 wkly). This is why I am looking for something that pays a little more.

If you are going to tell me about a program - prove you have been paid - don't just give a copy/paste of whats on your programs website. I want to know if YOU personally have been paid.

Thank You

That's a very valid point, Dodie. It is something I also would like to know. The thing is, most of these schemes are based on downlines or matrixes that take a lot of time and effort to build before you get any return on a regular basis. I am a member of dozens of these "opportunities" and I'm quickly learning that the vast majority of them are only profitable if you already have a large network of responsive people who trust you and are willing to try your recommendations. I am also learning that personally, my skills in persuasiveness are currently very limited. For example, there is an opportunity I have been promoting here for the past 4 months. I have had a few hits to the site but no sign ups. Yet a more popular member of this community has been promoting it for only 2 weeks and already has over 100 sign-ups and a growing residual income from it. If only they were in my downline :o( So perhaps it is not the business that is the problem, but the person who is promoting it. How good are your skills of persuasiveness?

Hi Dodie & Lynn,

You know, Lynn makes a very valid point, but we also have to be careful about that point. I was in a system that was nothing but a money trap where 99% of people joining were assured of failure and the main reason that the uplines used was "You" as a Marketer just didn't do the job.
Man I worked the phones, I bought leads, I advertised my fingers off, and spent thousands of dollars trying to succeed.
Ultimately I realized the truth, that I CARED about the people I was talking to, and most if not all couldn't afford the first level, let alone the advertising and all other costs. I just couldn't sell something I didn't believe in.

Now you may be hearing about something very soon here in Adland and elsewhere. No doubt you've already seen it, but didn't believe.

Well Carl and about 3000 other people that have joined our team have hung in there while the company worked hard to create what is most likely the most complex program to run the most simple of systems, but then a program to track and pay over 60,000 people is going to need some creative writing and secure processes.

Working alone is not always the best method, and Carl's team has proven that!
With better than 80% signup success rate when bringing people through the system, anyone who joins and follows the system is going to have much better success than if they were to try it alone.

I guess one of the true beauties of this is the price of $7, but then added are the tools, products, website, team support! and you have a real gem. Even the unpaid members are going to benefit through a unique plan that will in effect move them into a paid situation and wake them up!

So you will be seeing lots of "I GOT PAID" from people in this system, and many will be moved to join. Take this link and join now, and you will be at the front of the line!

 HELLO,
I saw this forum pop up and wanted to comment that I have been paid. We are earning money in Jerky Direct, some more than others. I have 13 people in my downline so far down to three levels. Also I have a free website and get wholesome Jerky to eat, it's $12 a month.
My link is http://carlacsteam.jerkydirect.com if you want to look at it. Unfortunately, we aren't in Canada yet but will be soon.
Thanks,
Carla :)
Glad to make your acquaintance! Carla Carey

Lynn,

I couldn't agree with you more. I have tried so many programs, it just boggles the mind, lol! I have promoted and promoted but, like you, have had very littel success with them.

I do get paid for working online, but it is not from marketing, it is a job. I am a proof reader. It doesn't pay much but it helps.

I also feel that I have a problem with being persuasive. I usually don't add a bunch of hype to my programs, I just tell it like it is. Maybe I should say "Join my company and you "can" make $5000 a day! (hehe - not really) Notice the "can".

I wonder sometimes are people just looking to join some hyped up promise or are they looking for an actual opportunity. It seems that those that hype up the company or the opportunity have 1000s under them. Although, those that are a little less "annoying" are left with the small downlines. I would think you would pick the less annoying person to go with, you know, the one that will "tell it like it is". Hmmm....

Thanks for replying!
