Chili
3 tbspoons of chili powder
3 tbspoons of beef buillion (no sodium type)
1 clove of fresh garlic chopped
1 large onion (green, purple, yellow or white) chopped
2 cans of tomatoe sauce or stewing tomatoes (your choice)
1 can (19oz) kidney beans, drained
1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained (optional)
1 pack of shredded buffalo jerky
(or chopped up beef, turkey or buffalo jerky... also you can use a pound of lean ground beef !)
Combine all ingredients in a large Sauce Pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with corn bread, french bread or crackers, or chips ... any of your favorite.
Sourdough 4 Cheese bread, toasted is my favorite!
I sometimes do red beans, black beans, white beans mixed !
