We all should know that before we start doing anything that we need to set up goals so that we can get to where we want to be. Right? Well, are you following through on those goals that you make for yourself, or are you failing to achieve them?
If you are setting goals and then not sticking to doing them, all you are doing is setting yourself up for alot of stress and frustration. Too many times we fail to do what we say we will, and then you either stop setting goals, or you let your failures overcome you. Either way, this is not good for you because over time you will stop setting goals because it is easier to do that than to keep disappointing yourself.
What's the sense in trying, right? Wrong! So, now let's set up some new goals and this time you will do it a little differently than before. Instead of you trying to achieve one big goal, we are going to set little goals that will achieve the overall big goal. So, go ahead and break your new goal down into a bunch of little goals that are attainable, bit by bit.
When you break your goal down like this, each little goal is going to be so much easier to reach, making you will feel much better about yourself. You will feel more motivated, happy, and you will have the desire to keep going on.
Now that you are achieving your overall goal this way, doesn't it make you feel so much better? Don't you feel like less of a failure now that you have little goals that you can see being attained? Now instead of being all stressed out, frustrated, and disappointed in yourself, you feel good because you now have a method of achieving your goals that works.
