Hello Pauline,

Thank You for inviting me to this wonderful poetry party! There are some beautiful poems here!
I have many many to share, here is one I have recently written for my dear husband:

The Best Day of My Life...

You ran your fingers through my hair
and gazed into my eyes
you kissed me tender on the lips
resistance was my demise

Shivers ran straight down my spine
as you softly stroked my skin
I felt engulfed with empathy
for your passion deep within

Sumptuously my heart did race
rhythmic with my furore
submerged in a pool of ecstasy
intense aspiration for more

Saturated with fervour
overwhelmed with my emotion
flooding through my veins
a compulsion to devotion

From that very moment
you had me mesmerized
and then you took me by the hand
and gave me a surprise

You got down on one bended knee
and asked me to be your wife
I said 'Yes' and that day became
the best day of my life!

Hello Again,

Here is an Acrostic, also written for my husband (I know, I spoil him don't I! lol)

I Love You So Much

I look deeply into your
Loving eyes, you
Open your heart, I am
Very surprised
Ecstatic to hear that
You feel the same way
Overjoyed, overwhelmed at our
Undying love
So special you are,
Oh dear Lord above
May I thank you from my heart for this
Ultimate fate
Cuddled in the arms of my
Husband, my soul mate

A friend is like a present that you keep finding atover and over again; a treasure that you keep forgetting you have in your possesion.

When you look at little girls friendships and little boys friendsips-they differ quite a bit.

Little girls make a friend out of anything, a doll, a rag; sometimes nothing (it seems) but a gentle stir in the air.

Someone becomes a friend when you feel safe enough to  confide in and tell secrets to; someone who you can go to in tears of despair only to come away laughing and renewed; knowing that you will not be judged-but heard.

Someone who will hold up your very own words not in mockery or judgement but as a mirror, held with a steady hand- while you adjust your image.

Little boys are practical creatures.
They like people with whom they can do "things"- build, break, climb, etc.
Scratch the surface of memory and the things and people that make us smile are rooted in our early definitions of "best friend".

I think a successful partnership combines the two.
Best confidante and helper in doing things.

Some of have been blessed to find these qualities in people we have met in cyberspace-and that still blows my mind!

I have decided that men are like a PC while women are more like a MAC.

I like 'em both and do not have to choose.
