Hello Kathy and Friends

    Kathy, I know that in my response to your email I said that I did not want to be involved in any of these little skirmishes anymore but I thought I would try one more time to make a point.

     Certainly, in theory, everything that has been said about eliminating problems and everyone doing their part to help improve Adlandpro , is correct and honorable. Personally, I like Adlandpro and have had very few problems with other members here. Notice that I said very few problems.  Yes, I have had a few problems and every time, it was the same people involved. I dealt with those problems a little differently than the approach being used here in this forum. I posted openly and honestly in the forums where the problems occured, I identified very specifically what I thought the problem was. I also actually posted the names of the people whom I felt were causing the problems. So, first I recognize that there is a problem. Then I identify that problem and try to come to some conclusion about the cause. In the cases where I have had to deal with this sort of thing I addressed the person who I felt was causing the problem right in the forum, by their name. This enabled the accused to express ther views and if nessesary, defend their position. This also allowed others in the forum to express their views and what we ended up with was a majority consensus that indeed, the named person had been very disrespectful to others and now everyone knew it and they knew who it was. This gives people an opportunity to actually address a specific problem and solve it. those problems no longer exist and the people who were responsible for those problems are no longer a part of those particular forums.

   Now, not to be critical but, here is what I see going on here. You have a problem with someone and you have stated it in this forum. The name of the guilty party remains a mystery to most of us here in this forum and  the over all message of this forum is having a negative impact on this community at large. Some poeple who are reading this are hearing, first of all, only one side of the story, making it impossible to do anything to help actually solve this problem. Second, new members are hearing a lot of whining about trouble makers in this community. Not exactly what they were looking for when they joined  Adlandpro. So, what do we have here. A lot of people offering suggestions about how to solve a problem that they don't even really know exists. The person who is being accused of causing the problems, having not been identified, is still free to move about Adland causing problems for other people. The specific problem remains a mystery to most who are joining this forum. The accused has not been given an opportunity to defend  their side of this. More and more people are getting tired of all of the drama here at Adland and some are actually leaving this community knowing nothing other than that there seems to be a lot of problems here.

   I have seen forums like this go on here for weeks and never solve a single problem. This forum will most likely be another of those. A lot of people agreeing that they want things to be better. A lot of people agreeing with you that there are problems here that need to be addressed.

    Bottom line is this. If you are not specifically addressing the problem and the person supposedly causing the problem, you are merely adding to the problem. If you are not contributing to a solution but merely indicating that there are problems, you are part of the problem. Put the cards on the table, let everyone make their own decision about how to deal with this problem and move on. This whole process would take maybe a day. The way this is being addressed right now could drag this out for weeks as it has done in the past.

   Step 1. Identify problem .

   Step 2. Identify those responsible for problem.

   Step 3. Collectively, as a group, solve problem.

   Step 4  Move on to more productive use of time.
