Important tip from Aaron and Kathy/Networking
1/14/2007 4:22:38 AM
Hello my friends,
Well here is a tip so people will understand what advertising their presence means.

Let your profile be as if it is your business card you leave behind.
Many say I am to busy or I just do not have time to go into another community  or advertise at many places.
Well then I challenge you that you are even serious about networking.Expand your mind.think far and ahead.Things do not have to be as hard as you may think it is.
You Plan your day accordingly it will work for you.
Take one community each day take half hour fill out your profile competely professionally.
you never have to go back if you choose not to.but you are leaving your profile behind, it acts as if it is your business card you just left behind.
You may not be there but others through out the world are viewing it daily.
You are being screened over, your profile becomes your business card and now you are planted in the minds of others whether you relize it or not.
Take time to leave your business card behind in all these communities.
Advertise your Presence and Market your Identity.
Do it for you and your business.

Hope this tip was helpful.

"Not sure if this w/ do anything, but see what happens." Is that what goes through your mind when you leave your businsees card behind? This is what came to mind as I'm writing this now.

Over time I've experienced from the positive guidance of others, what to do and what not to do with my business cards. Just leaving them beind, ie. at a restaurant or wherever is not the best way to  make  use of this business tool.  There where times I thought it was easy to comunicate my venture by pinning it up on a board at a gas & grill of a fish bowl draw at a restaurant. If some street worker or loser with felonious intentions picks it up, what good is that?

Personal style has a lot to do with how best to use the business card. Just think back - when's the last time you where in conversation with somone and he/she asked for a reconnection at a later time. Just asking if they have a card, and if they have one then it's a no brainer. If needing to write down a name, phone number or email address, heck there again, the way is clear to hand out and give that card.

The next thing, what does the card have on it that will communicate the key information that will produce the desired result? In my case it what's on the back that has the most to say:
* Motor oils- Superior wear protection - Improved engine performance....
* 2 Cycle Oils -
*Drivetrain Fluids -
* Fuel Additives -
* Air & Oil Filters -
You get what I'm saying? Now that the person has moved from just a casual contact, he's moved to the prospect stage.

Hi, Thanks for the advice,

The problem is often working out how to leaveyour profile and the other is

If you join another community what happens if you don't have time to answer invites or questions, If you don't does this look bad against your name?
