So sorry to hear about the death of your father. It is a beautiful thing for you to share the love that you had for him and your family. This Christmas will be a wonderful memory to a very special time in your life. My prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Thank you for sharing the celebration of your father's life.   Our tears are for ourselves because we'll miss our parent; but, we should be rejoicing knowing where they are and whom they are with!  Thanks to Jesus, we have our reunion to look forward to.

Hi Tim,

I'm very sorry for your loss.  I know how you feel as I lost my dad at age 15 on the 22nd of December, 1948. He was only 52 and collapsed with  a heart attack at work at the Packard Motors plant.  We had our tree up and I was baby-sitting for my brother and niece when my mom came home from Henry Ford Hospital and said that daddy was dead. We took our tree down and spent Christmas in the funeral home.

I also lost my brother Harvey at the age of 53 and my kid brother Gordon at 47, all of heart problems. It certainly is not easy. But we both know they are all in a better place and most likely watching over us from above. The Lord works in mysterios ways, but who are we to judge.

So sorry to hear about your dad passing away.  Always remember. we are but travellers here on this terestrial plain of life. Your dad`s eternal spirit has begun a new phase of existance where there is no conception or need for anything that is temporal.  I celebrate with you as you send him on his way.  :)
