Hi Linda,
I'm gonna start calling you "Quiet Storm".
I always get something useful from your emails and never regret having opened them.
I did an experiment earlier this year. There was a person here who was promoting a program BIG time. Now, I had also gotten info from a reliable source that the program was a scam and why.
I called the guy(the Adlander doing all this heavy-duty promoting), to ask one-on-one:
Have you really made money with this program?
Do you consider it a safe investment for someone financailly 'on the edge' and trusting that friends would not mislead them.
Do you personally stand behind this program?
I got a STERLING endorsement from this guy! Oh he GUARANTEED success-blah, blah, blah.
Of course, the program folded, just as my first source said it would and for the reasons he said it would and guess what-surprise, surprise, while waiting for some kind of statement from this person-he disappeared.

That is very interesting, I have not taken the poll yet. Advertising online seems to weight both sides of the coin for me. The constant stream of spam that pollutes my inbox to join programs. With the programs I belong to: I have one that pays, one that is new, and one I dumped like a hot potato. Three that somebody signed me up for, which I had to write letters to withdraw from (they must have needed people pretty bad to pull that stunt, but it made me laugh.) But I am learning fast how this works. Thanks for the insightful poll.

yep..sometimes very discouraging and alarming because there are more opps online then 20 years ago and less money being made.you really need to stand behing your program and learn about it and let it be a benefit for the person joining Patricia

Linda,

First of all, my mentors have told us that the amount of money made by one person is not to be compared to what YOU can make. Reason being skill level difference and self motivation.

As far as internet sales, most of these programs can't survive over 2-3 years as there's always a new "prelaunch" everyone seems eager to jump on to get at the "top". Seems they are always starting over.

Although I have a few affiliate programs to play with, I much prefer the stable MLM for the long term passive residual income benefits and the personal development teachings that don't seem to be taught with these affiliate programs.

As always, each individual must do their due diligence to make sure whatever program they start is reputable and unique - less competition - has duplicatable system in place, training and supportive upline - and I don't mean do the work for you - responsible company owners  and WILL be around for YEARS to come.

Just my thoughts

Blessings

Thanks Linda for the poll and the results.

I am one of those in the zero catergory. I saw the advice you had given someone about starting with a blog. So I have started setting up two blogs and hope to follow your advice about linking etc.

Thanks once again for what you do.

Blessings.
