Hi Marilyn

The spirit of gratitude in everyday things is the road
to true happiness. It is only by living in the eternal
now that we can find peace.

So many of us get caught up in the busy things of the
day and looking forward to the next pleasure that
we forget that we are here and we are here now.
Now is the only time we have. If we live with
a beloved pet we can observe this attitude in
them. Now is the only time that they are living.

I have two Parakeets that spend most of thier
time in the expression of joy and I can tell
by the sound of thier singing what mood
they are in. We can learn from these animals
the true nature of happiness.
