Hi Linda, It is great to run into you as I'm on the same kind of "check in and run" schedule. I've been formulating my method of operation online and the key thing I have pinned down (for me, of course) is Don't lose focus! I try to keep my goals in front of my mind and why I personally am online. I'm not here to become wealthy I'm not here to earn thousands of dollars a day I'm not even here to flood my PayPal with dollars a day I have no reason to beleive most of what I see online and try very hard not to be seduced. I know that I will be, so I try to minimize the damage I do to myself by having boundaries I will not cross. In other words, I don't give over control of my mind and intentions to anyone, ever, or at least not for very long.

Every time I read your posts, I am more impressed by your sound logic.
Somehow, I have a feeling that you are a woman to watch.
I feel good things about you and for you.

I think every person would do better if they logged off the Internet and, looking up into the night sky filled with stars and the moon, made a list of boundaries they would not cross. And then post them beside their computer. Very wise words.

Hi Linda, Two words. They suck! LOL! Perhaps I've been online too long, but all those ads do for me is put my Hype-O-Meter over the top! They are, in my opinion, designed simply to suck the hard-earned dollars out of the pockets of those who can least afford it (and who are newest online). The sad thing is, those ads are most likely run by well-meaning people who actually believe the programs they are promoting are good programs that work. In reality, they usually only work for the person or group who set them up in the first place. Some people may take offense to what I'm saying. All I can say to them is, I was an online newby once, too. God bless, Dave

Thanks a bunch, Linda for this post.  I mainly ignore the banners.  I am more interested in reading the forums and finding out how my friends are doing. I really don't think I have missed anything by not checking the banners.
