Re: Busting the ‘Myth’ of the Entrepreneur

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for sharing that with us.  May I borrow it?  It is a very good message for business owners/entrepreneurs.

All the best,

Hi Kathy, You have hit the raw nerve and all that you say is true. I have been self-employed and it's a 24 hour roller-coaster ride. Morning Noon & Night. We're all chasing the elusive space that exists in our minds of just being able to be. Without pressure but the entrepreneurial mind is in complete converse to that state. In my experience I am constantly wishing to keep my mind active and just never been into the idea of complete stillness unless I am looking to meditate with a purpose. This is the contradiction of how we are in the West. Thanks for the post Kathy and congrats on your marriage. The best of times be with you. Hello everyone!  :-)

This is such an awesome post!  And every word of it true!  My coffee pot was my best friend in the beginning......but now I have no need for it anymore.

Anyway it goes.....it is quite nice to take off when you want......goin for an afternoon motorcycle ride in the country or goin to hit a bucket of balls - just because you just don't feel like going to work yet!  You can take a week or so off when you want ----> JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO!

And my personal fav:  NO DRESS CODE!

Pants?  What are those?  LOL

Have a Xoomin holiday weekend everyone!  :-)

~ Drummerboy Keep on thinking positive…..thank God for everything that’s good in your life……..and make it a great week!

Hey Brian, Yea now thats what I am talking about. I have all the freedom I want come and go as I please but something happens to you along the way.Even though you have interaction with people online, theres still something missing. Would I trade staying home to working not really but when you work a real job it is very structured, at home there is no structure really, My daughter is having her wisdom teeth taken out today, my job I had before at Safeway would of given me so much crap if I told them I needed a day off. That I do not mind. thanks,kathy/simikathy.com
