I have found that it is in the quality of the traffic that I get what makes a difference in my business. Although any little exposure helps, I try to make the most out of my time by positioning myself in front of people that are serious about succeeding and don't just want a free ride. The system I use is a treasure for me because it helps me weed out the people that are not serious whithout having to waste time figuring that out. It also teaches me marketing strategies while earning an income. I also don't need to be afraid of not doing something right and spending tons of money trying different things because the system is proven to work, and more importantly it is working for me and it can work for you. I have to agree with some of your points, but apparently I've not been very clear about the success I've experienced with Program Hoppers, and believe me, this kind of program should not be overlooked simply because some people like to knock this kind of advertising.
I set my ads, checking them occasionally, testing here & there, but overall I spend very little time on the site. Once started, it just keeps going and going.
I simply read my five ads to join, and promoted to my contacts, and now my adverts have been seen over 3 MILLION times, and I have a downline of over 1,000 people. This system PAYS me to advertise my other opportunities.
So I would say that it's not been a waste of my time, and I know many others who would say the same thing.
Of course RESPONSE is what we're all looking for, and as I've learned, there are strategies beyond simply posting an affiliate site and hoping to get signups. We've seen all of them before (some..many times over) so the response to that method would be very low, but as people are learning to use the strategies that work to draw targeted interest by providing quality and extra benefit they are reaping the rewards.
Some people say that traffic exchanges don't work. I will agree to a point, but if you've adopted the new marketing strategies for your business, Traffic Exchanges and sites like Program Hoppers can be very productive for those who use them correctly.
