Hello TV ...
Thank you for posting ... It is very nice to see the wonderful contribution you made here ...
I am with Kahlil Gibran on this one ...
<<"Let there be spaces in your togetherness," says Kahlil Gibran, "And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.... Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping">>
I believe that love is being able to let someone be free and be, totally, who they are ... Love is not possessiveness ... that is just obsessive, compulsive behaviour ... One cannot own someone else ... and one cannot think they have the right to own someone else ...
Love can only be conquered by love ... and hearts can only unite under the same reciprocation...
As for your mention of monogamy ... well ... I do believe that .... if Love exists between two people who are so much IN LOVE, with each other, then all others, fade into dust, because the one becomes sufficient to satisfy the other on all levels ... in which case the love affair shared becomes monogamous ... and exclusive ... not through rules and regulations set out by society, or proprietary, but by the blatant devotion each shares with the other.
There is only one kind of being "IN love", however, I do agree that there are several forms of love, (and loving), and that those can be shared with many ... and is exclusive to none ...
Take care my dear friend and thank you for this beautiful post
May love shine on you always
