Hi Pauline,
Thanks for the Father's Day tribute to all Fathers.
This is always a bittersweet day for me.
On one hand, this is a day when I think back and remember all the good times I spent with my Dad, or the great stuff I got to do, because Dad made it happen for me...
My Dad...Raymond Lamure, passed away in 1986, he was only 42.
I was 21 at the time and it hit me pretty hard.
Dad and I were very close all thru my life, we went on many fishing and camping trips, he took me to all my hockey games and practices....from 5 years old to 15.
My Dad gave me my first motorcycle ride, on his old 1973 Suzuki GT250.
Must have stuck with me, as I still ride and maintain my own motorcyles today.
Heck....later on, Dad even gave me his Suzuki GT250!
My Father gave me so much in life, and asked for nothing.
A few years after Dad passed away, I became a father myself.
Now, I have the joy of raising 3 wonderful sons.
They always do something to show me how they appreciate me on every Fathers day.
That always makes me very happy.
To all you Dad's out there....I hope you had a great fathers day!
Jason
