A “ PESSIMIST ” sees the difficulty in every opportunity; •They have the tendency to always expect the worst •Thinks that evil will win over good •That the world about us is corrupt •Is defeated before they start anything •Does not have the persistence to succeed •Is beaten by their mental attitude and will fail •Lets opportunity pass them by •Survey shows 90% look for a right to fail •Opportunity is not grasped as it requires too much effort. •Goes through life with a chip on their shoulder •Will not try and misses out on opportunity Napoleon said: “Impossible is only used in the dictionary of fools.” An “ OPTIMIST ”sees the opportunity in every difficulty." •Expects the best in all things •Is hopeful and confident •Thinks good prevails over evil •Looks for opportunity and grasps it. •Persists and does not quit. •Is not defeated before starting •Has a positive mental attitude and will succeed •One of the 10% who seeks success •Accepts difficulty as a challenge •Enjoys more success with life. Australian Motto: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Be an OPTIMIST and enjoy life it’s worth your effort, you owe to yourself, and to others around you. Minkailu, The person whome you are referring to was only trying to make the readers of the forum Aware that we must be very careful in which ventures we choose to follow,as if we are not careful in knowing all the information can be very costly to us for making wrong decisions. He is a very good person and has a very positive outlook on things. He is just being a good friend to his Adland family. But I do wish you success in your ventures. thanks, kathy martin

I would like to second what Kathy said. She is right on the money. I would like to add that being careful does not make you a pessimist. If someone gives you information that can save you from being scanmmed than why are they a pessimist. Like Kathy said, "He is just being a good friend to his Adland family". And if two to three people give you the same information and advice then why can't you see for what it is. Take care my friends! John

Something hard to do, but very true indeed. Theres always an opportunity in every situation. The biggest barrier to everything is always ourselves. Raymond

Quite right. And yes, as some people posted, wanting to be informed and cautious does not make you a pessimist, it makes you less likely to fail. Being an optimist, on the other hand, doesn't mean you have to see the world with rose colored glasses on. It means that you are keeping your eyes open, your feet on the ground, seeing all the bad, but not letting it affect you. It means that you have the confidence, the unwavering belief and the guts to work so you can attain the success you visualize. Amalia
