I would like to second what Kathy said. She is right on the money. I would like to add that being careful does not make you a pessimist. If someone gives you information that can save you from being scanmmed than why are they a pessimist. Like Kathy said, "He is just being a good friend to his Adland family". Quite right. And yes, as some people posted, wanting to be informed and cautious does not make you a pessimist, it makes you less likely to fail. Being an optimist, on the other hand, doesn't mean you have to see the world with rose colored glasses on. It means that you are keeping your eyes open, your feet on the ground, seeing all the bad, but not letting it affect you.
