Lawton and Larry it is unusual for the male of the species to appreciate poetry. You should know that there were great "Man's Man" guys that both wrote and appreciated it without appearing feminine.
I on the other hand was raised by my grandmother, mother and 4 aunts and I used to visit my female cousins and play "tea party". I am about as masculine as a man can get, a weightlifter and muscular for the last 30 years. I have a very deep voice. At a glance no one could realise that I also understand the way women think exceedingly well. It is quite a tricky job to balance both of them at the same time, but I have mastered it.
I still have a hard time understanding my wife Susan, but not for the usual reasons. She is 100 percent emotional. I am about 90 percent Logical. We are both opposite. Some of my poetry reflects her personality as we have grown together for the last 37 years.
Thank you guys for visiting my humble forum and thank you for your kind comments.
