Hi Everyone !
I saw this post and just wanted to add my two cents for what it is worth.
I am seasoned in the MLM business been doing it for a couple of decades.
Here is what I have found to be true.
When a new company starts up they do look for the heavy hitters. Many times they will find a heavy hitter and pay them to join and bring their entire downline with them. It is what is called lateral moves. Everyone knows this that has been in the MLM field any length of time at all. This is to the new companies advantage in the sales arena because they all have to some kind of monthly sales or re-occurring payment that has to be made by the rep in order qualify for bonuses. It also boast the new companies credibility. The heavy hitters can than brag about how much money they made in the first 30 days for example making it more enticing to the new prospects. It is nothing more than a shell game. The positions usually cost the laterals nothing and they can keep their downlines intact. Does it happen in the real world? Yes, but the heavy hitter has to bring something very lucrative to the table.
It is to the advantage of the company to bring in as many people warm bodies or those that are actually working the business.
I really hope this is helpful and be careful out there some of these companies are set up to fail .
Blessings,
Geketa
