Hello friends,
I had an experience recently that I want to share with you all. Perhaps it will remind you of an experience you have had as well.
A Powerful and Profitable Exchange of Money
Recently while my husband and I took a week long camping trip we left my car with an auto detailer for have it "spit shined" and cleaned while we were gone. I have never had a card detailed before, so I didn't know what price to expect.
The very compentent owner of the detailing company (Island City Detailing in Plainwell, MI) explained how he used q-tips and toothpicks and toothbrushes, very expensive leather treatments and finishes for the outside of the car as well as carpet cleaning and stain resistance treatment, etc. I was impressed with what he had to offer.
For everything he suggested, he charged $350. $350? What?
I was debating and considering eliminating some of the service to lower the price when my wise husband said, "Yes, we'll take the works!"
Ok. $350. Wow!
So, we left on our vacation and when we returned we found a beautiful like new car and I felt it was worth every bit of the cost, so I happily wrote him a check.
And THEN the detailer (Mark) mentioned that the wheels are "pitting" and that some of the finish is coming off and he could not repair that. He suggested that the wheels may still be under warranty and may be replaced by the dealership.
Soooooooo, with our spit shined like new car we drove straight to the dealership. The service manager took a quick look and said, "Yep, we can replace those for you. When would you like to come in?"
How easy was that?
Here's the good part. He told us those wheels are worth $800 EACH... so we got $3200 worth of new wheels for -0-.
We took the car in on Saturday and two hours later drove off with 4 brand new wheels. Yowsers!
Thanks to our car detailer to whom we paid $350 and in exchange received not only a beautiful like new clean car... we also received 4 new wheels worth $3200.
Now, THAT is a powerful exchange of money, don't you think?
Did I call the detailer and thank him for his suggestion? You bet I did! And he's getting a thank you card in the mail from me too - with a picture of me and my clean car. He keeps thank you cards on the bulletin board.
So, since my card comes from my greeting card service, who knows where that could lead?
Another powerful exchange of energy?
We'll see.
Many blessings.
