   Thanks for all those weird facts. We have Japanese Koi in our ponds and the longest lived one lasted for 6 years. They got a ways to go to beat the goldfish.LOL

I had a little zebra danio that lived for 3 years under the stress of being in the same tank with a turtle.  That fish lasted longer than the others probably because he was a faster swimmer or never slept.  He only died because the turtle ate him or he just magically disappeared.
