Funny Funny brother Bill. I am glad that you have joined us. All of us have to give some time to GOD's word daily. especially in these times. But I don't think that anyone who has read the Bible that many times could ever be concidered a slow learner.,

In His Anointing,

 Pastor Lynn

Re: 'Bible Study / The Names Of God Jehovah Rophe/ The God Who Heals
9/23/2006 11:24:42 PM
Jehovah Rophe;
"The God Who Heals"
Summary

As human beings, we have been born into an imperfect world, thereby inheriting the curse of sin and death-and along with it, sickness, and disease. However, those who belong to God and call upon Jehovah Rophe can be completely healed.

A. God is whatever we need Him to be (Exodus) 3:14.

B.  Results are manifested when we live uprightly before God (Exodus 15:25,26).

1.  We reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7,8).
2.  God does the supernatural, but we must take care of the natural.

C.  Moses had a long, healthy life (Deuteronomy 34:7).
1.  He died at 120 years, strong and in good health.

D.  God can do the same for us today (Hebrews 13:8).
 1.  There is no variation with God (James 1:17).
 2.  We cannot blame God for our failure to receive.

E.  We must not forget the benefits found in God's Word (Psalm 103:1-3).
1.  Healing also includes the emotional realm (Jeremiah 8:20-22).
2.  God promises to restore our health and heal our wounds (Jeremiah 30:17; Isaiah 30:26).

F.  God wants us to prosper and be in good health (3 John 2 ).
1.  We cannot enjoy God's financial blessings when we are sick.

G.  Jesus was anointed to heal all manner of sickness and disease (Matthew 4:23,24).
1.  He only healed those who received it. (Mark 6:5,6).
2.  We must yield to the Holy Sprit in order to be healed.

Note: Remember you are in a battle to maintain the healing that you already have. Jesus shed his blood your healing and by His stripes you were healed. Do confess the problem only the promise. That fact is the you are fighting against a sprit of infirmity. The truth is that you are healed. Hold on to your faith and win the war.

Until next week. I Love you with the love of our LORD JESUS!

GOD BLESS,
In His Anointing,
Pastor Lynn

Re: 'Bible Study / The Names Of God Jehovah Nissi " Our Banner of Victory Over the Enemy"
10/8/2006 10:39:11 PM

Jehovah Nissi is " our banner of victory over the enemy" He is our rallying point in the midst of battle, and His Word serves as a reminder that our war against the enemy has not been lost, but ultimately won. Through what He won for us on the cross.

A. Moses erected an altar and called it Jehovah Nissi  (Exodus 17:15).

1. We must never forget what God has done for us in the past.

B. God punishes those who oppose His people ( Deuteronomy 25:19).

1. Joshua was commissioned to destroy the Amaiekites (Exodus 17:14-16).

2. We must conquer and destroy the strongholds in our lives before they destroy us.

C. We must support and restore our brothers and sisters in the Lord (Exodus 17:11-13).

1. Moses' arms were a symbol of victory and deliverance for Israel.

2. Banner: a pole or ensign; a standard or miracle.

3. When the enemy of the Lord comes against us. Like a flood the Holy Spirit lifts up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19).

D. God has established a method for walking in His victory.

1. We must wear  His armor ( Ephesians 6:10-17).

2. We must praise His name (Isaiah 13:2-4).

3. We must live uprightly before Him (Ephesians 5:11,15,16).

E. We do not war against people, but against satan (Ephesians 6:12).

1. God's armor is for protection against demonic attack.

2. Battles are lost when we fight people rather than the spirits controlling them.

3. We must learn to recognize the enemy. In other words as christians we must learn to fight where the fight is. And that is in prayer. Jesus said that his house will be called a house of prayer.

F. We must keep the banner of victory raised at all times.

1. We must hold on to God's Word (2Timothy 2:3,3:14,15).

2. Lean not unto your own understanding (Proverb 3:5)

3. We must not be afraid (Deuteronomy 20:1; Psalms 23:4; Isaiah 54:17; Psalms 118:6.

4. We must lift up the name of Jesus (John 3:14).

G. We must thank God for the victory before it manifests (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14).

Note: Be encouraged my brothers and sisters. Jesus is on your side, He is with you you at all time. And as long as we are supporting one one another we will win every time. I love you with the love of our lord JESUS.

GOD BLESS,

In His Anointing,

Pastor Lynn
