Still a Stymied Newbie at Marketing!
9/6/2006 9:32:19 AM
Hello Everyone, This is indeed a great Forum, but in all honesty, the past week or so has made me feel like a stymied Newbie--and overwhelmed! I started out just to promote my shop--get some affiliates & increase interest, and sales. Of course, nothing is ever simple & have found myself bombarded with more information than I'll probably ever need. But, who knows?... It all just goes 'round in circles. I know I'm probably missing a lot of opportunities, like Chia's great affiliate program, but just can't afford it right now. Are people really making money from this? Sounds like an algorithmn that automatically signs people up to be affiliates. Ho-humm, one day another opportunity. So, for now, I'm doing a lot of filtering, not just emails either. I feel certain that everyone else in way ahead of me--I have a sense of humor and don't mind if you laugh, but please not too hard. So, here are some opps that someone may want to take advantage of: Link, Track & Earn--FREE: http://www.cafepress.com/bft/1166365/ Cash in on your creativity: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell/makemoney/?pid=1028811 GotSafelist-These folks let you bank credits to PayPal: http://www.gotsafelist.com/index.php?id=11406 The MadVlad Safelist-Rated #1 for good reason: http://themadvlad.com/s.php/paulag5777 Adsolutionline Safelist, Great and free members can post HTML 3 times/day: http://www.adsolutionline.com/safelistpro/s.php?paulag5777 The Opt-In List-has really helped: http://www.theoptinlist.com/sites/paulag5777/ All the very best, ~Paula

Hi Paula,

It's easy to get overwhelmed online.  Don't worry about if you're missing today's big thing.  I have Clickbank sliced and diced here, you can look around.  Scroll halfway down to get to each category link: http://www.topbiztoday.com/topFrame.html

Hello Kathy, Thanks so much for the reassuarance! I'd sensed that the name of the game is Filter--focus on specific goals. Can you believe that I have 4 downlines already? It scares me to be giving advice, but just told one last night the same thing you told me. It's good to be backed up by an expert. Another great help that I've discovered is the Excel Program in windows. I've started keeping a chart of where, when, what kind of ads were placed, and which kinds of letters were sent to wich downlines. Finger on the pulse, keeeping in touch! Thanks for the virtual pat on the back and encouragement. And congrats on giving up the 9-5. That's really a blessing! All the very best, Paula
