Venturing Inward

God, Where are you?

Lookiing inside deeper and deeper
Past the things I thought I was
Further ever further in I went
Through my adult years
to the childhood sadness I lemented

I challenged the void within me
And I cried out: Where are you God?
Pain became darkness
And I still looked deeper

Gone was my memory of who I wanted to be
Through and past the things that I was
To the still silence that became my soul
Where oh where is he?

Beyond fear and beyond hope I went
down further deeper before I was born
Through the memories long forgotten
Past the point of impossible being.

I ventured further and deeper to the beginning
There was a spark, no a light.
Brighter and brighter became the iridesence
Beyond the brightness of the sun.

Then I beheld the Face of God.

On August 19, 2004, I lay dead for 45 minutes. I had no pulse and did not
breath. I woke up with this poem in my mind and wrote it down.

God Bless all who reads this.

Thank you Donna, God Bless you too. I was in the hospital for 3 days,
and the Doctors did not know what happened to me. They said it
was salt depetion and electorlyte imbalance, but that was just a guess.

I found it

I see Him in the boughs of the trees
I have seen Him in the great seas
I looked for him in the hearts of man
But I found emptyness inside of them

So I shone as brightly as I could
The magnificence in only the ways I should
A few here and there found the meaning
But most could not grasp the being.

So what is it I was looking for?
Friendship, Love and more.
It is the emptyness I found
That makes the world go round.

"he came into the world and the world
recieved Him not"

"Therefore I tell you, Test each spirit,
whether it be from God"

"He was wounded for my transgressions,
bruised for my iniquities"

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
Whoever hears my voice, and opens the door,
I will come in"

"He that has an ear, let him hear"

The words of St Paul, and The Christ.
