I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering the same thing ... I am taking a lot of herbal remedies as well as conventional meds at the moment ... but like you said the pain is relentless ... and doesn't seem to want to ease up much.

I am on injection 12 of 14 and it seems to have done little and nothing right now .... I hook myself up to a massage machine twice a day just to relieve the muscle symptoms....

I am lucky to be surrounded by colleagues who keep me laughing, so I'm not letting the pain wear me down ... some days are mildly better than others ...

I am trying my best to recover ... but it's a long dran out process ....

It's been 7 weeks already ... slowly going further and further downhill ... but my spirits are high and ... as long as that's good ....

I am so sorry to hear about your ordeal as well .... geeeesssshhhhh .... this seems to be more common than I thought ... up until now ... here anyways ... I hadn't met anyone with the same or similar problems ...

However, I am taking the meds ... natural and conventional ... I have a consultation on friday with a specialist and then it's off for an MRI scan ... so they can see how advanced it is .... before they operate ...

I am trying to follow as much advice as possible from all over the place... even though unfortunately I cannot lose my work committments ....

Your story is certainly an inspiration and encouraging .... thank you for sharing it with me ....

I need you to keep pinching me ... just so I can still have feeling in my arms ... sometimes with the pins and needles of the trapped nerve .... I'm not sure of any feeling .... sometimes I think I'm just dreaming that you pinched me!!! hehehehehehe

I have followed your advice and propped the laptop up high on a stack of books, at eye level and I am using a cushion to prop my back upright ... the problem is when I make the jewellery I have to bring everything up and it makes it hard to work sometimes ....

I will know more about what is going on very soon ... I am seeing the neuro specialist on friday ... and will be going for an MRI very soon ... to check out the severity of the herniated disks.  I will keep you posted ...

But don't worry ... wild horses couldn't drag me down!!!

Thank you ... and you're right ... I've driven them crazy already ...

When I was in the hospital hooked up to the intravenous drugs, I felt the need to get up and walk, to not feel as stiff as a board...

..... so, there I was going 0,5km per hour ... with a nursing escort ... telling everyone, I was the pilot and the escort was the co-pilot and we were going for the Grand Prix prize for speed!!!! hehehehehe

Atlanteans can't be kept down ....
