Marilyn, In Aussie terms you would be described as "a good scout"  That means a fair dinkum decent honest sheila who cares about others. No worries!

              Good onya Marilyn        Downunder Dave.

Hi Marilyn,

My feelings exactly!

What these people that do these things don't realize is that they are only hurting themselfs by protraying to the other members the type of character they actual are.

This community is meant to build friendships not tear them down.

Be nice to yourself by being nice to others.

All the BEST and God Bless!

Hello Marilyn

This topic came perfect to my thoughts. I was going to be the UPOTW (Ugly Person Of This Week). Why?  Here is the result of what you describe in your initial message.

I  started a topic on an opportunity. Few friends visited it and one of them responded this:

Hi Georgios,
I have just been to the site and its got more typo's on it than I care to mention, you would have thought that they would have at least got someone to proof read the site before it went online, however I don't have a spare 500 euros so I will have to pass on this.
All I would say is if it sounds too good to be true then buyer beware!!
I hope it works for you.
Best Wishes

XXXXX.

I felt offended. Αfter recommendation from another topic member I decided to delete this post.
The site is not mine. It is a professional site. I just joined there.
As reason to delete the post I wrote “from serious friends I expected serious answers”
Here is the correspondence: that followed

Hi Georgios,
Sorry you felt offended by my post, were even now?

Thank you,
for seeing your friends in that way. Maybe it is on time to make clear who friends are and who aren't.
Yes I felt offended. I can understand miss-understandings and hard critics in sensitive subjects but not in promotion of business opportunities. Don't count me in your circles or in any of your business.
Our ways separate here.
I wish you health and success.
Georgios

Hi Georgios,
Thanks, see you around I don't think.

What should you do after that? I haven't done anything yet but I found out that this person his psychological ups and downs. I have at least one Power Member to witness this
.

A month ago he left all my forums without a reason.

Warm Regards
Georgios

Helloo Marilyn!

You are so right!  Way too often I see that people come into a forum and their ego wants to 'outdo' everyone else.  It's okay to disagree with other forum members......but one needs to be respectful.

I see people post these HUGE sparkly pics and say nothing but "Thanks for the invite!"  (Come on people.....his is AdLand...NOT ArtLand!)

I also see some who just blast out some sort of offer to whatever the 'flavor program of the week' is for them.  Well, thats not gonna get you any brownie points either.......

If you're going to post - then you should be leaving a comment about the topic of the post.

NUFF SAID!

One last thought however......as forum owners, their is a solution to this type of annoyance.  Simply delete the post.

~ Drummerboy Keep on thinking positive…..thank God for everything that’s good in your life……..and make it a great week!

Georgious:

One thing to remember:  If someone says "NO" to your opportunity, they are'nt saying No to you - just the opportunity.  So, you sholdn't feel offended.

However, when someone repsonds in a negative way......by returning the 'joust' (no matter how coridal you are about it).....one simply adds energy to the whole negativity of the situation.  I simply ignore these people for they are not the one's you want on your team in the 1st place.

Ignore.....and delete

My 2 cents...........
