Congratulations and revel in the Joy.
The Miracle
I watched as the mother beamed
I'm Pregnant!
or so it had seemed.
One day she thought it had ended,
in grief she cried,
So I befrended.
The doctor said it was all well,
and then we sighed for going through hell.
After 9 months of anticipated joy
We wondered if it was a girl or a boy.
23 hours of expectant labor,
This was one time I wanted to savor.
Then in the room I heard the small cry-
A Baby's voice oh my oh my.
At three in the morning the doctor said
It was my day off I should be in bed !
But then we all broke into laughter
This miracle of God had brought forth my daughter.
