Linda, It does not matter where you are on the internet. You are going to get these letters. Just delete them and move on to the next. I get these letters in my emails all the time and can usually tell by the subject line what it is. I don't even open it. I hope you have better days, Katherine

Hi Linda, No need to leave. Delete and keep going. Set your email to be read in Text Only format by going to Outlook Express, Tools, Options, Read and then check the box that says ‘Read all messages in plain text’. If you ever want to see a trusted email in HTML format (i.e. with pretty pictures!) then while any email is open, simply click on View and then click on Message in HTML (or hold down Alt+Shift while keying the letter 'H') and it’ll show you the fuller version of that email message. Go to View, Layout and uncheck box that says Show Preview Pane. This way emails do not open in full until you click them open. You then get to decide which are opened. Close an email and delete its highlighted line rather than the open email. If you delete an open email, then the next email in the queue will automatically open. It may be one that you don't want! To confirm an email address of sender, simply right click the email before opening and click on Properties to see the email address. Most times you can pick a weird one before you choose to open it! I also sometimes spend the extra few seconds and simply block the sender, sometimes it does block a few of these, though scammers often change email addresses regularly. For those of you with your own websites and who know how and where to use, the following is a great tool. Go to the post dated 22 June at this blog of mine. Plus here's a little article I wrote a while back, much is still very relevant. Go to this link at ezinearticles.com

Linda, you don't have to leave! I believed you and I have had the same type write to me on four occasions! All the stories are similar and involve large amounts of currency, gold or diamonds inherited by orphaned adults supposedly!! Please just ignore them or better yet if you want report them to thier email carriers as a scammer trying to swindle money! Hope you get rid of them! I did reply to the one and told her it was illegal and if she was the rightful heir there was no way she couldn't just walk out of the country with her money herself she didn't need me to do this! She never wrote back! Now I just delete them! Wishing you the best of luck! As Always, God Bless! Sincerly, Susan
