Ahhhhhhhhh, Dave,
This malaise all stems from the social interventionists who believe that the individual is omnipotent and that the rights of one over-ride everything else. They have been bleating this crap for over a decade and now we are seeing it all come home to roost.
Personal accountability and responsibility are rapidly becoming figments of the imagination.
Over here we have children being raped, pedophiles brazenly telling us "don't knock it until you've tried it," gangs of 8 to 15 year olds attacking people at train stations and tomahawk, machete and axe attacks on innocent people in broad daylight.
We just had a trial where three youths attacked another youth (who was drugged and drunk) then threw him off a footbridge to the road below killing him.
We also have before us a case where a beautiful little 15 year old girl went to a party, was beset upon by several youths who plied her with alcohol, drugs and butane gas, took her to a park, presumably committed sexual acts upon her then took her back to the party. They filled her up with so many toxins that she convulsed. So they stripped her off and threw her under a shower - presumably to remove their DNA. She was then dragged by her ankles into an emergency ward where she died.
I think the violent video games also have a lot to do with the de-sensitization. Drug and alcohol abuse are also factors. So are "defense" lawyers - or should I say defense liars - money whores who will use their legal knowledge to spin a web of lies around the most vile and filthy murderers.
We also seem to have reached a stage where the most stupid dolts are gaining powerful political positions.
Anger and violence is everywhere.
Where will it all end? I dunno.
Look at the slaying of John Lennon. What was his song? "All we are say-ing is give peace a chance." Look what happened to him.
Look what happened to Martin Luther King.
Look what is happening in Iraq. Look at many of the African nations too.
I also see reports that North Korea now wants to test one of its long range missiles that can obliterate cities half the world away.
Bob Marley's song "So much trouble in the world" rings loudly in my ears.
So much trouble...
