I ABSOLUTELY "HATE" POP-UPS. I never use them and they are an absolute menace. I must agree that adland loads slower than most sites I belong to. LETS FIX THAT FIRST, THEN WORRY ABOUT POP-UPS, and yes I do have dsl. IS THIS NEW FEATURE GOING TO BE FREE, OR IS IT ANOTHER MONEYMAKER? DON BEILSTEIN

The pop-ups do not stay open long enough to read them, in order to see if you are interested enough to go read them in their entirety. And if you do click on them to read them, you are distrupting the reading on the current page or the posting you are doing on the current page. I guess if they bring me more visits, it may end up being fruitful, but they might just be like any lead in that a visit is not a concrete prospect, just a visitor and they really don't count. In other words to say "WOW we get X number of visitors" means nothing to me unless they actually are interested in what I have. I don't have time to get hooked on reading all the posts. If someone looks interesting, I just click on their picture and go to their profile. I find them as I happen across them in a post that I am interested in. Nan http://mymangosteen.com/Nank

Hi Sherry, Welcome to our gathering. The consesus seems to be that if there are to be pop-ups, Adlandpro does it well. Those visiting Adlandpro to visit a forum, should be impressed and thus we can increase membership here. Way to go Bogdan.
