I dislike pop up ads wherever they may come from. Im glad that u can configure your browser to block them.

Hi Bogdan, YOU ARE A PRINCE!! Thank you for tweaking the pop-ups so that they are a better tool. If you didn't know they were doing what then you wouldn't have fixed them. Thank you so much for your diligence in this matter. And, YES! They are fixed and not running text all over the page... KEWL BEANZ!! Thanks again for being the leader here. I'm sick of pop ups, I hate them and ignore them automaticelly without reading them. I'm getting equally as tired of adsense and just ignore it. That goes for regular websites... BUT - Having said that, these pop ups are a horse of a different color. I actually like them. It's a great idea, non-intrusive, and a neat way to meet people. MY VOTE IS COOL!

Hi Mary, I have enough trouble getting into Adland these days. I keep getting page cannot be displayed. By the time i do get in I'm already frustrated. The last thing i want to see is another pop up! They are to distracting, make me loose my train of thought. It is hard enough to stay focused online. The whole world comes at you. I supose it has perpose. Everything does. I vote no to pop ups. I'm not aginst the extra exposure. We all need that. It is nice to know about all the interesting, exciting things going on here at Adland. I just think another, less intrusive way would be better. After a while people will learn to tune them out and they will loose their effectiveness. Karen

Hi Mary, I actually like the new pop-ups! for the simple reason they show me what is going on and where while I may have missed some posts otherwise. There is a delay in my mail so I don't know what's going on until its been and almost gone so the pop-ups are great to alert me of anything new, and anyway, you can click close immediatly if you want them gone!
