Kathy, Very good information! One of the things a person will find when they do decide to get a web site is the fact it has to be submitted to the search engines and like you said it has to be promoted. A person can go to many sites that will submitt their domain and web site, some are freebies, but most will want to charge to do the submission. Do you know if your URL is being submitted to the correct catagory? Will you know if the Dictories and Search Engines accepted your URL? In most cases it is all up to blind chance! There is a site that I use which has a multitude of information and directions on how, when, where, and usage of keywords. The nice thing about this site is you can use it for free, or you can make a donation and get the full service and information.
