Hi Mary, I was rereading Part 1 and noticed that there are many slang understandings of the Norwegian word, kaka, or cake, in English, French, Italian and Spanish. For those who are in some doubt about the real meaning of the word, go to http://www.brollopsnytt.nu/signebergqvist/kaffebrod.htm where you will find listed a number of different kakas, or in English, cakes. God bless, Dave

Hi Dave, Thank you for stopping by and taking time out of your busy schedule. Tower Hits has truely been a success and I am proud to be using the services of that site. You mentioned a family tradition. That is what this forum is all about. We want to pass on those favorite recipes. Think of the story of Timothy in the Bible. He learned of Jesus through his mother and grandmother. We pass on the "bread of life" tradition of believing in Jesus Christ and his message of peace and love. So we feed the soul. Here we pass on the love of good home cooking. Come join us. Start here.http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=298097 See you around
