It's not about us, it's about God. We ask for things that may not be in our best interest, and like any loving parent, God can and does say NO. He may say not yet, or Yes, but he DOES answer our prayers. Without Him, we are nothing, and ANYTHING we accomplish is DUE to HIM and Him alone. Your post is thought provoking, and in many ways has some Biblical foundation, as where the mind goes the man follows-it's a GREAT little study by Joyce Meyer. Hey Johnny, Now, you know I have a lot of respect for YOU and what you believe. One thing I do keep in mind is that everyone does not have the same beliefs. That does not make anyone right or wrong... just different. We can respect each person's belief system whether we agree with it or not. Would you agree?
