Hi Linda, Speaking of cold, we just got our first snow fall on Mt. San Jacinto near Palm Springs. Looking beautiful and we have the world famous Palm Spring Aerial Tram to get the snow bunnies up to the snow (no roads). It remindeded me that I have two sets of Cross Country skis that some couple could make good use of. They are Fischer waxless models 170cm and 190cm in length.
