Re: Death Threats by Email. What next?

Hi Linda, I have had dozens of them and I'm still alive. I trash all of them too. As for replying to these morons, why waste your time? Sending you hate mail just shows you what a simpleton low-life this egghead is. Like I've said before - people will anonymously and/or gutlessly send all sorts of viruses, hoaxes, hate mail and the like remotely. They do it because they can do it without repercussion. It's like spraying graffiti in the dead of night. How clever. How brave. If they had to do the same thing directly "face-to-face" they wouldn't have the courage. That is always my litmus test. Would this person do it mano-a-mano? Or in your case, womano-a-womano (LOL). If the answer is no, as it invariably is, then I don't take any notice of it as a legitimate threat. I could just imagine if somebody threatened you face to face with this trash. They'd end up like a match with the wood shaved off. Trash comes from trash. Best Wishes Gary Simpson.

Hi Linda, Yes these type of emails are truly vile. I receive them all the time, and file 13 them (delete). Unfortunately many of them come from friends and family who don't know any better. I usually check snopes and send the sender the link so they can see its a hoax. And I never send crap like that along to other people. Thanks for sharing this... Lisa :`)

Hi Linda, I've received my share of stupid forwards, but nothing like what you describe. It boggles the mind why anyone would want to send that kind of stuff, let alone respond with hate mail. Thanks for the heads up, Lorraine

Thanks for the information Linda. I haven't received that particular one but do get some of the hoax emails that friends pass on without checking to see if they are hoaxes. DonnaZ

I would like to share, shall we say, some insider information that the dear sweet owner of this here forum seems to have left out of her post, and let me tell you that this takes it to a whole different level. It is one thing for you to read what happened, and it certainlly was not very nice. It is whole different story when you sit here and listen to it happening. But was she ever pi$$ed at the gall of the person for ever sending it. So as usual within in seconds it is checked and found to be a fraud, a sham, a cruel thing to even think of doing. I thought there was fog setting in, nope just the steam from under the collar. So now the fun starts, lets just see who this Tool Of The Day Is. So off she goes, the keys on the keyboard need a doucing to cool them off. Ahaw, so here you are, and it seems that your not your average pinhead what owns a computer and gots yerself an internet connection and is on line. No, your not that at all, you actually work in this business and know better. Your not just some small potatoes little Internet Marketer, selling ever piece of Internet Marketing junk out there, your what you would have people believe is a true 100% bonified Internet Professional. Your into the high end Multi Media part of the Internet. Well if I thought she was pi$$ed before... I had to leave the room, and while doing so I chuckled under my breath about how I remember what happened to last pinhead that took a similar stance and was about to face the keyboard of a true master. So she does what does best when people do what this pinhead just did. Then later on, sometime after we finished dinner, out it comes. "Hey I remember where I know that guy from." she blurts out. "Where I asked"? in trying to stay as informed as I could in this little situation, amd I know I sure wanted to know. Well good people you are not going to believe this, but remember when I mentioned that under my breath comment, about the last guy? Well low and behold if this new pinhead was someone that contacted her after the previous incident to say how impressed he was for the stance she took. The orignal pinhead was also supposed to be a professional in this industry. I saw his name mentioned recently in a post about an E-Book.;) These people actually publicly speak out about these types of e-mails and how wrong they are. It sure is good when you hear the laugh that goes along with a sudden realization. Sweet music to my ears.
