Hi, Thanks for sharing memories. It brings back memories of the GOOD OLD DAYS on the farm! Can you imagine kids coming home from school today, actually doing chores, and not having a TV to watch?

Wow!!! This brought me back to the days. I was born in 51 and remember all that. It is so true how everything now is so fast paced and you have to watch every little things like sharing a drink or watch out when a stranger sneezes and don't even start me on hitchiking. Well put together. Nick Sym

Thank you Marilyn for that fun filled forum of memories. Kind of made me smile and cry all at the same time. Those were the days!! I was born late 60's so I had my fun in the 70's. All day playing and outside. Some toys. Not much TV at all. Dinner every night with family. Rode my bike to school or walked and it was not close. I mean I could go on longer, but it pretty much has already been said. Absolutly a pleasure to read that Marilyn. Love,

Hello Brother Johnny, Thanks for sharing your memories with us. I agree with all you said. The baby boomers need to be doind just as you said, planting a seed into our grandchildren and so forth, because much had gone by the wayside. The government has alot to do with that by taking praying out of the schools, and not being able to talk about God anymore. For some kids that is the only place they learned about these type of things. They weren't getting it from home, but at least they learned values, morals, etc at school back in the day. Where can kids learn it from now? So many are not being taught respect, values, morals, about God(which doesn't have to teach any particular denomination) just teach of The Creator and God's laws, which are basic for almost all religions.
