That is wonderful!! I can relate to so much of it too. Hubby and I sure noticed the changes as they affected our kids. One thing we vowed as parents was to never buy a video game set up for our home. The girls each got a handheld Gameboy and the play time was limited. They actually read books, and we played family board games too. Thanks for sharing the memories! :)

HI Linda, Yes, we were outside playing hide and go seek too, and kickball. We didn't have to worry about some sicko coming around and trying to steal us and rape us or anything like that. The people think today is so much better than in our times...I say BALONEY! There is so much crime, people lack imagination, people are lazy...I'll take my younger days anytime over this mess that the world is in! Marilyn
