Only person who prayed can appreciate gravity and power of prayer. Those who concentrate on negativity, look for faults in others, believe that they have the outmost knowledge and are only interested in putting people down, have no faith not even in non-religious terms. It is easy to question and destroy, but it is much harder to build and empower. "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." – Mark Twain, Author Bogdan Fiedur

that is so true most people pray for things but are not looking in to them selves to see what they can do to make it happen they are looking for faults in everyone else so they can have someone to blame for their failures and fears or just letting the creator work in their lives dont be afraid of him he will not let you fall unless you deny him access in to your life I know that for a fact when I try to do it on my own I fall when I let him help I florish in every aspect of my life.

Thats whats been working for me Bogdan, sometimes when I pray I get to rushing it a bit like when Im really tired and want to go right to bed then I realize who Im dealing with so sometimes end up praying 20 minutes instead of 5 minutes. I feel on a more personal basis if I really focus one on one instead of dwelling on the daily happenings. I pray Jesus takes everyone ready to go soon, to the promised land. http://www.M2Cworks.com/dggrounds http://allsolutionsnetwork.com/DG/DG20429 http://12dailypro.com/?157611

So Bogdan, Do you get mad a a sports announcer who reports your favorite team lost? You get all excited and mad at me when I simply point out facts. Are you saying all those religious leaders, all their followers and the millions who pray for peace every day are NOT sufficiently religious? And that is why there is no peace? Multi-millions of Americans who WERE Christians ALL PRAYED and it did not work for them either. Here is what Dan Barker, a former composer of Christians songs (around 100 written, published & still being sold) and a FORMER Christian Minister for many years said about religion and prayer. When you read some of Dan's comments, below, you should remember he has most probably forgotten more about the Christian religion than most Christians will ever learn! "It's not easy to change world views. Faith has its own momentum & belief is comfortable. To restructure reality is traumatic and scary. That is why many intelligent people continue to believe: unbelief is an unknown." "For my money, I'll bet on reason and humanistic kindness. Even if I am wrong I will have enjoyed my life, the existence of which is under little dispute." "The longer I have been an atheist, the more amazed I am that I ever believed Christian notions." Here are some of Dan's comments on prayer. "When not thinking critically, I assumed successful prayers were proof that God answers prayer while the failures were proof that there was something wrong with me." "To think the ruler of the universe will run to my assistance and bend the laws of nature for me is the height of arrogance." "If the answers to prayer are merely what God wills all along, then why pray?" Dan Barker From his book, "Losing Faith in Faith" available from http://www.ffrf.org And since YOU posted a Mark Twain quote, so will I. "Christians are all insane!" Mark Twain You are right, I do not have faith in things I either have knowledge of them or I do not. How does pointing out facts about prayer even ome close to "belittling your ambitions"? Bogdan, I was NOT putting down a particular person. Nope since it was YOU who DID that, here is a quote for you. "Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people." Eleanor Roosevelt So Bogdan, go look in the mirror. My comments were dealing with ideas as that is what religion is, an idea, a belief with no proof. All religion has is faith and dogma. Were people not programmed into religion at a young age, very few people would be religious.
