Thanx for the invitation David. I went to Linda's site, and she is absolutely right... Web design can make or break a business. I know from my own experience, in tweaking my own work, that sometimes it can just be the use of the wrong color or font, that diminishes sales. It doesn't just stop at design though. Actual text can be just as damaging if it isn't done with care. I've seen beautiful web sites that sucked eggs when it came down to the actual text content. Hey Linda, I really did like your site. It is wonderful, on both counts... design and content. Way to go girl! Have an awesome day! Trina

Hi Arthur, Yep, most of those ebooks are just a waste of hard drive space. Here's a trick - whenever you see an ebook that looks interesting to you, do a Google search and see if you can find it free (often they become free giveaways to get your email address - just register a junk mail address for this kind of thing at yahoo or wherever). Also, check out what others are saying about the book. I just found a very good ebook by a lesser known author at a fraction of the price of the similar ebook that's being hyped all over the net right now. I bought the lesser known author's book after reading many reviews from people who WERE NOT selling it, and it was excellent value. Anyway, you're very right - there's a tremendous amount of garbage available online and even in many forums. That's why I just changed the direction of this forum to a Focus on Facts. The people I recommend here are only people who I believe know what they're talking about. God bless, Dave

Hi! Dave, you're priceless! Thank you so much. When I checked my messages and friend's requests, I felt like someone was having a party for me with all the new visitors at the door. lol I've posted a special welcome message for all your friends at my forum, here; http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=298496 Arthur, I added a reply to your comments in my letter, too. I think you have the courage to say what many people are thinking or fearing, and I really wanted to give you my thoughts in that regard. I won't post the whole thing here, and hope Dave doesn't mind a little linking back and forth. Heather, you make me laugh as always. Yes, Heather is the president of the fan club. I swear I'm going to send her a Tshirt. lol. Thank you Lisa, for the kind words, too. I finally got to my messages and replied to yours. (red faced for being so behind) Thank you to everyone else for the friend requests and for visiting my forum. You are very, very welcome and I hope you enjoy it. Any friend of Dave's is always welcome. And thanks again, Dave... : ) Linda Special Welcome for Dave's friends; http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShowPost.aspx?PostID=298496

Hello Dave's friends, I endorse all the good things that have been said about Linda Caroll. There is so much BS on the net but you won't find any on Linda's forums. That is why I visit it often and make some posts of my own there. Dave, the thing that irks me most about e-books is that a lot of it is just rebadged, old tripe. Very little is original. A lot of it is just blatant advertising. Duh! Some of the stuff that I have bought over the years is really sad. Shame on me for parting $ for it. I'm very discerning what I will buy now. As I have said for some time - the internet is the perfect place to commit a crime. You don't need a gun or a balaclava - just a good con. I've lost count of the number of "You have won lotto" (most come from virgilio.it and from the Netherlands) and Nigerian Scam letters and such that I have received. Now, I just direct them all into my scam folder. When it gets to 100 I say bye, bye and delete it all in one hit. That makes me feel good because the idiots who keep sending it to me are simply wasting their time and effort. Anyway, like I said Linda speaks a lot of sense. It's a pity that others don't follow her lead. Best Wishes Gary Simpson
