Hi Linda,
I have been trying to stay away from Adland for a while as it soaks up far too much of my time.
But, I felt compelled to add to some of the conversation here on this topic.
What you said about the numbers is quite true.
I have said this before:
Numbers don't lie. Words do.
I'll give three simple examples that everyone will be familiar with:
1 - Have a look at any brochure from any bank. Look at the numbers (ie interest rates or other offers). What do you find? You find a little asterisk beside the numbers.
2 - Look at any company financial report. Look at the numbers (ie write downs, accounting "procedures"). What do you find? You find a little asterisk beside the numbers.
3 - Look at any company advertising in newspapers, on TV, magazines etc (ie "special" offers etc). What do you find? You find a little asterisk beside the numbers.
So what does the little asterisk denote? It refers to what is known as the "fine print."
These are the WORDS that EXPLAIN the numbers. In other words, they attempt to change the meaning of the numbers. It is an attempt to change 2 + 2 = 4 into 2 + 2 = 5, or at least "bend" the numbers.
If you want to find the lies look for the words that accompany the numbers. Go to the asterisk. That is where the scandal will be found.

"I feel that there is lot that could be said on this whole issue. I will however reserve my comments at this time as I have been bashed by the President of this team as well as other team members for voicing nothing more than opinion in the past. I have had posts deleted that were informative to people that might consider joining this adventure."

Heh...heh... THAT made me smirk. You? Bashed? Er, what bikie gang did they enlist?
Finally, Johnny...
You said:
=============================
"Math does not lie and you have some very go points, but it is not all about math as you brought out."
=============================
Then, a bit further down in your post you stated:
=============================
"I will make more money in my Travel business than I would in his health company."
=============================
Wasn't your last statement all about math?
So, to sum up, I agree with Linda. If the numbers don't stack up then they don't stack up. No amount of promises (or lies) or "explanation" or fine print or asterisks will change that.
Numbers don't lie. Words do.
Best Wishes
