Hi Jo, If you don't have an Anti Virus program, You can go here and download AVG for Free. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/I+need+help It works very good on mine. It will automaticly check your computer everyday. If computer is running at 8:00 am. Bruce

Hello Carla, Bruce and everyone, Thank you for your support and help. I ran my restore CD again and kept the Norton antivirus that came with my PC. I have Spybot, Adaware, Windows Defender and Yahoo Antispy. So far my PC is running very nicely(knock on wood). I had Avast running when I got hit, so it's unlikely that I will use it again. I may download Zone Alarm, it's pretty good once you learn how to use it. I am looking forward to being able to catch up in WOSAT. And being able to participate proactively. I believe that I was assigned to the Membership/Team Services area. Take care, Jo

Jo, Spy-ware don't help much with virus's. Norton anti-virus is great as long as you pay to keep it updated. If you don't pay the subscription then it gets outdated real fast and is no good. With AVG, you get free automatic updates and never cost anything. Also if you use Internet explorer, get away from it. Most virus's are written for it. get firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/ Download the FREE version. It is much less pron to virus's. Plus it has builtin pop-up blocker, spellcheck and a lot of other good features. These are not affiliate programs, I am not affiliated. Hope this helps Bruce
