Thank you David. :) I love bald eagles! We have some in my neighborhood and at my mom's neighborhood. We live only 4 miles apart. She had 2 beautiful eagles sit in the top of her evergreen trees. Yesterday they were soring up in the bright blue sky. We live on the outskirts of Seattle, WA. Barb

Hi Barb, You are not so far away - I now life on BC's south coast. We have a lot of bald eagles here and up the coast. When we lived in Prince Rupert, my wife and I would travel up the Skeena River when the Oolichan were running and there would be thousands of bald eagles in the trees and on the gravel bars feasting on the fish. I have had them fly below me in the mountains, here, giving their haunting cry - it is most spectacular! I'm glad you enjoyed the poem! God bless, Dave
