Hey Dave Thanks for the poems. I to grew up on a farm in southeast Missouri, USA (commonly known as the bootheel). I really relate to the chickens and cotton. I gathered plenty of eggs and picked a lot of cotton. The Friends poem really touched my heart. God has blessed me with great friends around me and now here on the Web. Thanks again God Bless
Keep Smiling, God loves you Bonnie

Hi Bonnie, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The cotton in our area was actually from the Cottonwood trees that grew along the creeks and ponds and filled the air and lined the ground with their "cotton" when the pods broke open. God bless, Dave
