Nope, not at square one, just a different direction..... go out and find some pretty blankets, or rugs, and hang them on the walls as decoration. Hides the white, and you can take them with you when you move.

After the car accident, I received a nice amount of cash, so I put into the house. I see things I wish I would have done, but I had a ball choosing colors for each room. My living room was the one that just fell into place. things I got at many different places, they just blended so well.
Years ago I wanted to be an interior decorator, but never happened.

So I wish I could come and help you choose colors and bright you up more.

 20 years, later ... am still loving our home. Plenty of room for one more thing ~ a swank mother-n-law space in the backyard; but, I will claim that for my "Me Myself and I" space ~ LOL
