Hold onto hope and faith, Wendy. Brighter days will surely come to shine on you again.
Financial problems can put such a strain on evey aspect of life - family, friends, the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter.
I speak these things from my own personal experiences. And I know from my own times of trouble that sometimes the pressures can just mount and mount until a person may become sorely tempted to take desparate measures to make ends meet and care for loved ones. To relieve the pressure.
When such things happened to me, I found comfort in the following favorites of mine:
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
and
"Do not despair at your tribulations, for they are My glory for you!"
I have to tell you Wendy, that there were some times that I felt awfully darn glorified indeed! But surely as day follows night, these things will pass, as they always have for me.
All the best, and soon too
